From January 8, 2023, China restarted its visa-free policy. You can travel to China without applying a new visa if you qualify for visa-free transit policy.
从2023年1月8日起，中国重启了免签证政策。如果您有资格享受免签证过境政策，您可以在不申请新签证的情况下前往中国。
Or you can also apply a new visa to China. Now the types of visas you can apply for include Z visa, M visa, Q visa, S visa, X visa, etc.

1). Visa-Free Policy

Now tourist visa is still not available to enter China. But China now restarted its visa-free policy. If you meet the conditions, you can travel to China without applying a new visa.

1.If a foreigner applies for a business M visa to enter China, the purpose of the foreigner"s application to the Chinese Consulate must be business. To participate in work, he/she must enter China and then sign a labor relationship with a Shanghai company to convert into a work visa.
